i screen you screen :: hearty hand pulled screen prints {giveaway}

I Screen You Screen, the witty name alone made me want to check out this line of hand pulled screen prints. But it’s the prints that really stand for themselves. From maps to quotes, graphic pieces to art for a child’s room — I Screen You Screen offers wonderful artwork for the entire home. I had the chance to review their Political World Typography Map – The World 2011 Political Map. Wow! I have included the artists’ pictures of the artwork because, frankly, they are amazing and mine do not nearly do the work justice.

I really like the idea of displaying maps in the home. We are a big traveling family and anything that reminds me of our journeys around the world is a welcome addition to our living spaces. I especially want our young son to grow up with an understanding that the world is larger than his own back yard.

I Screen You Screen has taken the expected and married a bit of modern and vintage to make their maps pop. Each map is an original hand-pulled screenprint made with high quality inks on torn cold press 140 lb watercolor paper — archival quality.  I have chosen to hang the mint green map in my son’s room because I feel it is a perfect piece of art to grow with him over the years — lovely colors, cool typography and a fun visual of the world.

I Screen You Screen has really wonderful screened maps that capture the world in a unique and beautiful way. my SIMPLE star rating :: 5 out of 5
