constructive eating :: feed kids creatively

Let me sum up this review in one word for you: COOL.

I saw these products online and my first thought was, “Cool!”  My husband walked into the kitchen and saw the utensils sitting on the counter  and his reaction was, “Cool!” And, my child came to the dinner table and saw “toys” next to his plate – “Cool! Cool!” It is official Constructive Eating products are COOL!

I almost don’t want to put it in writing for fear it will make it more-true… but my kid is a picky eater. So any trick to get more goodness into my child’s belly is this mom’s dream. And my dream has come true. The Construction Plate and Construction Utensils have little boy written all over them. A fork, spoon and “pusher” designed to look like trucks make putting food in your mouth really fun. And the matching plate is designed to house the utensils and help kids scoop the food as they eat. We have a no-toys-at-the-table rule — but these utensils found that magic loophole by serving double duty as a toy and eating tool.

And beyond getting good foods into my toddler’s mouth, these utensils also make me happy with their construction. All Constructive Eating products are made with only FDA approved materials and no paints.  There is NO Lead, NO Bisplenol A (BPA), NO PVC, and NO Phthalates in any of the products.  And all of the products are made in the USA. These things should make any mom happy.

Little girls (those who aren’t excited by trucks) aren’t left out either. Constructive Eating also has a super cute line of Garden Fairy utensils and a plate. Working with the same concept – your picky princess can also find nutrition once again.
