Another Beco Fan!! & Giveaway

I have watched some of the other SIMPLE Moms trying out the Beco Butterfly carriers. And I drool… LOL!! I have worn each of my kids in times of need (AKA grocery shopping or cleaning the house) in our trusty ‘ole Snuggly.

While the Beco is a structured carrier, it fits just as snug to baby, is VERY easy to use and is super comfortable. I might actually enjoy grocery shopping with 4 children come May:)

One of the first places I tried out the Beco was at the park with a friend’s 20 lb infant… he is a chubbster:) But I was very impressed how well the Beco fit to his (and my) body, holding him close but not too tight. And I was a little concerned the baby was too heavy for me and making him uncomfortable to hold, but it was great… yes, even me being 4 months preggo The snug fit matched with the padded shoulders make the carrier very enjoyable to wear and not too bulky.

I like the structure of the Beco as well. I LOVE the fact…

• that I can strap Baby into the carrier on a bed and then transfer Baby to a front or back position… almost like putting on a bookbag!! Very convenient for those of us who want to wear our babies but don’t feel at ease with balancing baby on our backs.
• that some of the weight is distributed to the shoulders and hips! It really makes the experience more comfortable, especially for longer periods of time… like the full weekly shop:)
• baby feels secure. Even my little park friend was very content being worn by me (and not his momma… even though he was sleepy!)
• it fits infants 7lbs to toddlers at 45lbs!! The range of size make it both versatile in bigger families and a GREAT investment!
