I’m about to let you in on an amazing discovery I’ve made. Are you ready to be “in the know” of something that’s going to change your life as a parent? 5 words…
My heart flutters with excitement just typing the words. Believe me when I tell you that you NEED this chair!
“But Kate, I don’t exactly have that kind of money to drop on a high chair.” you might be saying to yourself. Trust me, I know – we are a family on a budget too. But this is SO MUCH MORE than a high chair! And it has transformed our mealtimes, for the MUCH better. Had I known, I would have purchased it a long time ago!
I have the typical 2 year old…thinks he knows everything about everything, including when/where/how/what he should eat. I was SERIOUSLY dreading mealtimes because I would just watch him play with his food, throw his food, say “down, down!”, all while barely eating. SO FRUSTRATING, can I get an amen?
But I kid you not, since we got the Tripp Trapp, mealtimes have been a whole new experience. More on that in a minute…
Like I said, the Tripp Trapp Chair is so much more than a high chair. Its a concept, an experience, a new way of looking at mealtimes with your children. The chair is meant to pull right up to the table, so your child can interact and participate in family mealtimes. Not only does this chair grow with your child, it can adjust to CUSTOM FIT your child’s body enabling comfortable, correct ergonomic sitting. The high quality, safety, and functionality ensures a lifetime of use…and beyond! With the baby attachment, it can be used starting at the age of 6 months. It holds up to 300 lbs., so practically anyone in your family can use it!

The Tripp Trapp is also so much more esthetically pleasing than a bulky plastic high chair! Its lightweight, small, easy to assemble and easy to adjust. With all the colors and accessory options, you can get something to go perfectly with your decor.
So how has this made a difference in MY family? I’m not exactly sure how a chair has been so magical, but it HAS. I really believe that the concept behind the Tripp Trapp Chair works. My son is comfortably at the table interacting with us, able to climb up all by himself (which shows it was HIS decision to eat – important in the life of a 2 year old!), and able to climb down by himself when finished.
Here’s my 2 year old at lunch time…
Notice the LACK of temper tantrums and his willingness to cooperate with mealtime!

The new cushion sets and color combinations are super cute and I love the longevity the Tripp Trapp promises, too.

Looks good! I'm in the market for a second highchair this looks like a good one. I like that it comes in soooo many different colours. I think I would choose the gray option if I got a choice in the matter!

I like that kids of any age can pull right up to the table, without worrying about booster seats or high chair trays. Makes them more a part of the family meal!

Oh wow – this is such a generous giveaway! I love that my daughter could climb up in it on her own! She's getting so big to lift into a high chair!
August 13, 2009 at 11:45 am
This chair is hot! Who thought you could ever say that about a highchair?
Besides the slick design…the best feature has to be the fact that this chair grows with your child! Stokke is really on the cutting edge of childrens products.

Strength and stability.
Tripp Trapp is made from strong and resilient beechwood. Beechwood possesses durable, strong and elastic properties to ensure your child’s safety.
This would be perfect at our house for our grandchildren:)
The 2 year old is just 2 little for a regular chair at the table.

This is probably the best kids chair I have ever seen…. I have never liked the look of big plastic tray high chairs, and thought it would be a shame to have to feed "seperate" from the rest of the family!!! This chair solves those problems, and then converts into an adult chair to boot! It is truly amazing.
August 13, 2009 at 1:28 pm
The accessories allow the chair to grow with your child. I love it!
August 13, 2009 at 1:33 pm
I have heard so many good things about the Stokke Tripp Trapp! I am so blessed to get a chance to win one, thank you!
My favorite feature of this chair for me is how versatile it is. I have a 2.5yo son as well as a 5.5mo daughter (who just started solids), not to mention those rare occassions that I can sneak in sitting down for a few short moments, this chair would be a great use for all members of our household. I'm pretty sure our cats would sit on it at times too! Lol
again, thanks for to opportunity!

I love how this chair can take a child from an infant to an adult and look fab doing it. Thanks for the wonderful giveaway, I'd love to have a couple of these for my twins.
August 13, 2009 at 2:09 pm
I love how its fully adjustable and grows with your child.
I would love this chair!
August 13, 2009 at 2:36 pm
This chair is amazing looking. The part I like best is that it is ADJUSTABLE! Not all kids are the same size, why should their chair? What a great chair. not sure you can't access my email through my username? -so, here you are: eberky at gmail dot com
August 13, 2009 at 2:41 pm
My favorite feature is how long you can use it with one child! We're expecting twins, so anything that get us the biggest bang for our buck is awesome!
August 13, 2009 at 2:45 pm
I like the lack of plastic & the fact that your child can join you at the table. I would love to have one.
Kate: thx for telling me about this great site when I met you at Carianne's house.
August 13, 2009 at 3:00 pm
i like the versitility in it that it can be used beyond the baby stage….with 5 children from 10 to newborn, things that can be used by multiple age groups is important to me
August 13, 2009 at 3:04 pm
I LOVE how adjustable it is! From highchair to booster seat, with all of the various heights. My son is almost 2 now, and outgrowing his baby highchair, and he is just DYING to sit at the big table with us. This would be perfect!
August 13, 2009 at 3:43 pm
The features I love most about the Tripp Trapp chair are: It's adjustability, versatility, value (considering it can last a lifetime – makes it a value-add, which is especially important in a challenged economy), the warranty and I'm amazed that I can find a sophisticated looking highchair that (in Maple) matches my dining set EXACTLY! This product is a real winner!

This chair is exactly what we have been looking for, the Family Table is extrememly important for us, we don't think that the baby should have to sit off by himself just because he's a baby. I love that it will grow with our children as well and you can not beat ergonomics! I also love the function of the extended glider, my son destroyed our last carseat by rocking back and forth.
August 13, 2009 at 6:04 pm
I love the look of this chair but my favorite feature is that is has: Ergonomically correct seating position which helps improve posture.

I love the ergonomic design. My grandson is the same way as your son. He is 2 and sits for about 3 seconds in his high chair, throwing food and asking to get down. This would be a blessing.
August 13, 2009 at 11:59 pm
I like that the chair can pull right up to the table. It makes the little one more a part of the entire family — rather than separated by a tray.
August 14, 2009 at 12:39 am
love the fact the child sits with the family sharing the table not pulled sideways or off to the side. Highchairs sometimes remind me of the kiddie table in the other room and wonder if they realize they are not at the table.
August 14, 2009 at 1:02 am
I love the adjustable seating height & depth. This would be perfect for my almost 2 year old who wants so badly to sit at the big table! We used phone books as a booster for her brother, but she refuses to sit on them.

We're major fans of Stokke (we have 3 chairs and the crib) but with another baby on the way and my 1 year old twins still using their tripp trapps I'm going to have to buy another one. My 5 year old is attached to his Kinderzeat and wont let his younger siblings (or anyone else) even sit in it. He's pretty short and it allows him to sit at the table comfortably without a babyish looking booster. I love that I could use the seats from when my kids start eating solids and eventually use them as desk chairs when they're in grade school. They're a pleasure to clean, my kids eat better at the table with us, they blend in with the furniture and don't take up much space. Hope to win one!

I am an occupational therapist who works with children with special needs, this has been an amazing product for many of the kids we work with to enhance their posture, simply because the footrest allows the kids to keep their feet stabilized. With their feet flat they can sit more upright and show better core control during eating. This is also a great feature for all children. I'm expecting my first child, and this is definitely on my list of wants.
August 15, 2009 at 7:45 pm
I have loved this chair for years. I see it in magazines and long to have it in my own kitchen. I love how versatile it is- baby to child and back again for the next child. I would really love to win this chair!!!

I LOVE this chair. I actually saw one in a baby boutique yesterday and was drooling over it! I love that it is an all in one chair. No need for a high chair, booster, etc. My two and half year old sits on a booster, but the booster is awkward and uncomfortable. She has been injured getting in and out of it. So this would be perfect.

August 17, 2009 at 4:45 pm
I love that the seat plate and footrest are both easily adjustable. This would help our family because our just-turning-2-yr.-old has a hard time sitting in his upright wooden highchair now. he's simply getting too big (shoulda' got the trendy plastic kind, instead of the traditional, but I love Eddie Bauer, so thought it would be ok…and it was, until now). As such, baby's been sitting on my or dad's lap during dinner…enough said, lol. Dinner time is not easy, to say the least. This would bring peace back to the table and make everyone happy, including baby.
Thank you!

Provides you with the reassurance and peace of mind that your child is not only safe, but also secure in the Tripp Trapp highchair. This would also accomodate grandchild or goddaughter when they are visiting.

I have been drooling over this chair ever since I started having kids… love the design, LOVE that you can scoot your child up to the table (our toddler is now kneeling on an adult chair at the table), love the adjustable nature of the chair!!! Love it, love it, love it! (And… would love to get rid of the plastic eyesore for our baby now)

It looks so cool! My favorite feature is the Easy reach feature.
The ability to adjust and raise Tripp Trapp to the correct elevated position at the table makes it easy for you and your child to reach food, toys and utensils.
That is really cool! It would benifit us because both my daughter and my son could both use it, and my son is at the age where he wants to take off all the time. Not fun!

Adjustable seating height.
Tripp Trapp is fitted with a height adjustable seat plate. Elevates your child to the correct height when seated with elbows comfortably resting at table height. Tripp Trapp provides the ideal position for eating, playing and socializing around the family dinner table.
This says it all! It would be great to adjust the height, especially for different situations as eating or just sitting and playing.
