I’ve found a toy that will keep my kids creatively and quietly entertained (can I get a woo hoo for a toy that doesn’t need batteries)!
A toy where you can create a monster, alien, robot or mixed up looking new best friend.
Smoshies is a soft bodied toy that comes with crazy and kookie pull-apart body parts. The idea is to choose a body, legs, arms, hair, goofy facial expressions and attach them wherever you like on the soft body. The parts and pieces attached with easy to use Velcro tabs – simply create, rip apart and recreate over and over again.
My girls love this toys because it’s so goofy and fun. You just can’t help yourself but to laugh and smile as you play with your Smooshie. I’ve decided that it’s a great toy for the “travel bag”. Our travel bag is a bunch of toys that have been mommy approved to play with out in public need entertainment while we’re out and about (at a restaurant, in the dr’s waiting room, during a long car ride). Smooshie is a unique toy that never gets boring or is the same toy twice.
GET YOUR OWN! Smooshies are currently sold at Joann.com and select Michaels. Smooshie kits sell for $9.99
WIN YOUR OWN! We have a Smooshie kit to give away to one lucky Simple reader. To enter, leave us a comment letting us know why your child would love a Smooshie.
Winner will be chosen and notified on July 27, 2009.

My daugther has a great imagination. She never cared for barbie dolls, baby dolls, or stuffed animals (unless it is a Webkinz). She loves playdoh and clay. If she can not make something with it, she is bored with it.I know she would love this, it is no "stuffed animal".
Thank you for the entry,
