There is NOTHING more frustrating in my world than to wash my face before bed and then dry it off with a musty, wet smelling, “clean” towel. I would have never guessed that the problem could be with mold and fugus build up in my washer!!! My house does have a problem with humidity but the WASHER???
Smelly Washer is an all natural, dye and scent free powder that elminates the mildew, allergens and mold from the washer, leaving the washer fresh! And it also works on towels and other linens, including dishcloths and mops!
It is really easy to use! To clean the washer, which is the first step, you fill the washer with hot water, put in ONE capful and then let it sit overnight! The washer cleans itself!! Then other washes can be washed with Smelly Washer!!
In one treatment my washer was clean and fresh! Then I got to work on my towels…. ahhh, it was so nice to put my face in a towel, a really clean towel!
Andrea also got to use Smelly Washer ,“For a mom who used cloth diapers for almost two years… you can imagine the kind of dirt stuck in the unknown holes of that washer. After using the smelly washer product I noticed an immediate difference. My washer alone smelled better… but the clothes after the treatment smelled even fresher! If you are a mom like me who washes some mighty gross things in her load… buy yourself some of this and you’ll enjoy that washer again, just not the folding
”
BUY IT! Smelly Washer can be purchased online. One 12oz bottle is good for 24 loads or soaks (a years worth) and is $16.99!! A bargain versus a new washer, replacing all your towels or dealing with mold allergens from the washer:)
WIN IT!! Smelly Washer will be giving away 2-12 oz bottles of Smelly Washer to 12 of our SIMPLE readers (one for you and one for a friend… yay for sharing your victory)!!! To win, you must visit Smelly Washer and leave a comment about what you’ve learned! The giveaway will end Friday, March 13th at 11pm!

March 8, 2009 at 4:58 am
Oh my goodness!! I need this!! I live in the most humid place ever and “Smelly Washer” sounds wonderful.

I think this would be perfect for me. We live in an apartment that came with a washer and dryer, so who knows what kind of stuff has gone through the washer before us. Plus we use cloth diapers, so I’m sure there’s all kinds of loveliness going on inside the deep dark crevices of my washing machine.

I have a front load washer and I have sworn after this one dies I will never purchase another one because my towels smell gross and it is driving me crazy. I have tried baking soda, bleach, vinegar, oxy clean, you name it…nothing has worked. I would love to try Smelly Washer. I even replaced some of my towels because the smell is really getting to me. We first thought it was the dryer, we took it apart, now we are certain it is the washer but we took it apart and didn’t see anything. After reading the smelly washer site I realize it might be something we are NOT seeing. Thank you for the chance.

By visiting the site I found out that it is the only natural washing machine cleaner on the market.
I have a front loading washer and if I don’t prop open the door and it closes, then my machine smells really bad. I have tried vinegar and bleach but they don’t seem to do the trick. I would love to try this!

With three kids, laundry is like a scheduled weekend activity. And 12ounces of protection is much preferred over the alternative(s), n’est pas?

I learned that The frequency of use depends upon the amount of detergent used, if fabric softener is used and the temperature of water generally used after cleaning your washer. That being stated – many customers like to do maintenance cycles. If any type of maintenance cycle is done only a half-teaspoon of SmellyWasher is needed in a normal hot soak to remove any residue.

I am so curious to try this product. I think I have a bad sense of smell because my husband and best friend can usually smell the moldiness and tell me about it. I love the idea of throwing the rags and mops into the washing machine with the Smelly Washer!
